1345 Antique Gold Lion's Head Buttons

They have a fine designer look and a classic finish; each a work of art. I envision these to be used by someone in the craft business or maybe a designer. Southwestern Indian Style Metal Buttons (AZTEC?)

This is by far one of the nicest buttons lots I have. Available in a variety of 4 sizes and finishes. The size of the smallest is over 1/2 inch and the largest is just under 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Nice for a variety of different projects. I'm not familiar with Indian culture but when I saw these, "Southwest Indian" is what came to mind. If you create hand made American Indian clothing or accessories then these are for you. These also could be used by anyone wanting to add an Indian look to their own items (like boots, hats, jackets, belts, shirts or even purses). The buttons are all metal construction and each has a raised hole on the back for sewing. They come in two finishes: antique copper and antique gold. 24k Gold Grapevine and/or Wreath Buttons

These are beautiful buttons with elegant yet simple designs. The buttons are not perfect circles but have an organic shape to complement their natural designs. The first design is of Grapes, Grapevines, Leaves and Flowers. The detail is repeated 3 times around the circumference forming a pleasing triangular shape to the button. The second design is of leaves and berries forming a wreath-like design on a circular shaped button. The outer edge is not perfectly round but contours the shape of the design elements. Both buttons are very unique and are plated is 24 Karat Gold. These are cast in white base metal and have just the right feel and look. They are like a piece of jewelry. Indian Style Metal Disc Button (two hole)

Very nice disc style button that is heavy for it's size. As seen in the picture the button has Indian designs all around the flat portion. The center is sunken and has two holes for sewing or attaching. I think these would look great on leather Indian crafts. Gold Fire Dept. Dress Uniform Buttons

State Police Uniform Button

Antique Filigree Lion's Head Button

Nicly engraved Lion's Head buttons. The head is raised about a 1/4 of an inch from the fine filigree background. These buttons are large, just over an inch and 1/8th in diameter. Bright Gold Lion's Head Button

Beautiful large gold Lion's Head buttons. The engraving of this button is unmatched by any other I've seen. The head completly fills the area within the border of the button. The nose of the lion is raised so much and the entire face is so 3D that these would lay flat on my scanner. If you take the time to view the image I might suggest to take a little extra time on the button in the upper left of the picture. This one more than the others shows the beauty of this lot. Also one button is shown from the back so you can see the raised hole for sewing. If you have a love of lions and a fondness for buttons then you do not want to miss this this lot. (only a few gross are available).
